Farkhod joined JGA with over 25 years of public accounting and audit regulation experience. Farkhod helped our client to lead engagement team to perform integrated audit for its major accelerated filer, performed in-flights reviews for number of other clients under US GAAP and IFRS, provided ad-hock consultations to our clients in accounting, reporting and regulatory matters, and prepared and delivered trainings. Most recently, Farkhod performed number of look-back reviews and provided audit support consultations for our clients in their audits of issuers operating with digital assets (cryptocurrencies).

Prior to joining JGA Farkhod held a ten-year tenure in the Division of Registration and Inspections at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Throughout his experience there, he conducted inspections of audits and systems of quality controls. He inspected global audits in a variety of industries, focusing the last four years on financial services, insurance and mining. His experience positions him as a passionate and practical advisor to public accounting firms, assisting leadership in the implementation of the right controls, policies and practices throughout the organization. Prior to joining PCAOB, Farkhod has had over 15 years of audit experience in public accounting with each of the Big Four firms within the US and globally. He has deep technical accounting and auditing experience including:

• Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) and IFRS 9

• Fair values and goodwill impairment

• Hard-to-measure investments (level 2 and level 3 securities)

• Mining industry

• Audits of internal control over financial reporting "ICFR"

• International Financial Reporting Standards (gained “IFRS
  Certification” from The Institute of Chartered Accountants in
  England and Wales in 2011) 

• SEC financial reporting and disclosure requirements

• US GAAP/IFRS conversions

Farkhod is a Georgia CPA and has a Master’s degree in Economics.
